A brand-new domain is usually live within an hour, but if you have pointed it at hosting or email, that DNS change takes longer to spread — commonly a few hours, and up to a full day at the outside. During that window some people may see the site and others may not; this is normal and resolves itself. Double-check that the domain’s nameservers match the ones in your welcome email.
